Maternity Session in Rochester, NY

It’s been a while since I posted a blog…

This past year was a huge transition for my family. We moved states, started new jobs, and bought a beautiful old house that needed renovation. We did all this while raising two kids and decided to throw some chickens into the mix as well. Life has been busy to say the least, but I am so in love with this season. I’m back on the blog and here to share so many wonderful sessions I’ve had the pleasure of capturing over the last year!

One of the first shoots I captured when we moved back to Rochester, NY was Brian and Megan’s maternity session. If you have been following along on my IG, you have probably seen these two beautiful faces before. Brian and Meg are amazing friends of ours. I have had the honor of capturing some major milestones in their life so far.

Our new home came with a few acres surrounded by farm land. We decided to shoot the maternity images at golden hour in the east pasture. It was such a lovely warm summer evening. We kept things simple and natural with only a blanket and bench built by my husband. Briand and Meg have such a natural chemistry which makes photographing the pair a true joy. I love the images and memories we created so much!
